Albergue Palacio de Merás - Comentarios

a modern new large albergue in the basement of the hotel, felt more like a corporate business with little charm than a pilgrim albergue. there was a large group of "bus pilgrims" staying in the albergue, so the entire place was full and loud the entire time, just unlucky timing on my part. you can pay a few euro extra for access to the "spa" but it never got hot (and they refunded the money when asked). with all the amazing albergues along the primitivo with compassionate hospitaleros and communal experiences, i would skip this one in the future and stay at bodenaya or la espina instead and then campiello or samblismo the following day.
