JessW After a long day of walking, the facilities, food, friendly welcome and beautiful garden are exactly what you need. But being talked at for an hour before dinner about the owner's white saviour complex is not! There's a way for an hospitalero to stamp their personality on an albergue without splattering their ego all over it and this is NOT it! |

PedroLambo Nice albergue slightly off the Way but well signposted. Lovely communal meal and breakfast included, positive Camino atmosphere and a little bit of history from the owner Ernesto. Looked a great place if you’re travelling by bike. |

pamela khoury The location of the albergue is amazing, in a very peaceful town with nothing around. I arrived half an hour before dinner and they received me so well . The dinner was delicious. And there is a big opportunity to meet new people, chat and have a good time. The beds and showers are basic but clean and comfortable. |

Terri Armstrong I was a bit worried about staying here because of some of the previous reviews but I found it to be a nice experience. I didn't feel any pressure at all to donate any particular amount - donating was totally anonymous, unlike in some albergues. Neither did I feel any real pressure to listen to Ernesto's talk but I went out of curiosity. I don't know anything about his beliefs or background but everything he said in his talk was innocuous and not religious. Though I was pretty hungry but the time he finished! The food was plentiful and tasty (all vegetarian when I was there, don't know if that's always the case). The volunteers were kind and helpful. The beds were very comfortable, the facilities are good and the surroundings are fabulous. |

KMW Unique donativo albergue with welcoming volunteers & generous dinner and breakfast. Very peaceful country setting. I never felt I was pressured to listen to Ernesto's talk; also I didn't agree with all he said but I thought he made some good points. And he's certainly lived an interesting life... |

Vazul The best albergue I visited until this time. Very-very nice and helpful volunteers. It was a peaceful place. They also told us abut the following day's route. The dinner was excellent and copious. |

Lonica Everyone has always been raving about this albergue, but it wasn't my cup of tea. Mostly because of the mandatory (people were taken out of their dorms) long monologue in the evening about how great padre Ernesto is. But I think the place is very nice for pilgrims who get along with their cult. |
