plan for 10 days walking

Hello, we are 2 persons with good ability, plan to start the French Camino in mid May at SJPP up to Logrono in six days. From there to skip to Sarria through Burgos with public transport or other transport. Do you know availability of transport from Logrono to Burgos? And from Burgos to Sarria? From Sarria we plan to walk to Santiago in four days. Unfortunately we are limited in time so we have in total ten walking days and one day for travelling between.

Is this plan realistic, we do not want to miss the Pyrenees cross? Like to get your comments, Thanks

You might want to consider splitting up your Camino. Starting at SJPP up to wherever you can reach on this year. Then, on another go, you might walk to Santiago from Sarria or wherever next year (or whenever). As long as you do your last 100km in one uninterrumpted attempt, it will still be prefectly valid, Compostela-wise, all the same.

Hi, there is a train, direct, from Burgos to Sarría  although with many calls, not expensive. Ultreia!

Hi,

There is a bus Logroño - Lugo, which leaves at 2 a.m..

In Lugo there is a bus to Sarria that arrives around 12 p.m.. From there you can walk to Santiago in four days.

We do it every year but the bus from Logroño to Lugo is booked in advance because it is usually full.

Buen camino!!
