Irun to San Sabastián
Due to a booking mishap, I ended up spending the weekend in a small mountain village, loved it. I am now planning on skipping Irun/San Sabastiàn leg and starting from San Sabastián. My question will it haunt me once I complete, that I didn't do the first leg. My way of overcoming this is by telling myself that I am doing it "my way"

I wouldn't skip a meter between Irún and San Sebastián but, of course, you can do it 'your way'. Buen Camino.
My advice is not to skip it. The way from Irún to San Sebastián is one of the most beautiful of the Camino del Norte, especially if you go through the top of the Jaizkibel mountain. But you can do what you want, of course.
