Albergue San Lázaro - Comentarios

There are dozens, maybe even a hundred places to stay in Sarria. Check this one out before booking to see if it’s for you. The sitting areas are great but to call a fridge & microwave on a table, 2 forks and 6 rubber/plastic cups a “kitchen” is a stretch. The private room & bath with cama matrimonial costs only €40 & has a TV, but is damp, musty smelling and the low watt bulbs made it feel dingy. The shower area was between the sink & toilet and separated by a circular, somewhat moldy curtain on rods that hung down from the ceiling. The water went from scalding to cool with a 1/2 mm twist and settled in the room because the floor doesn’t angle enough to the drain. Room #1 shares one wall with a communal bathroom, one wall with a room sleeping 20, and has a tall window facing the entry/ reception/ socializing area with a see-through bamboo roll blind that doesn’t cover the window completely so you can’t totally darken the room or block out the view of people walking by. Noise comes in from all sides. I’m guessing the other private rooms are nicer given the positive reviews?

Es un albergue super recomendable, muy limpio y Marisa es una mujer muy amable y te hace que la estancia sea mucho mas agradable, la sala de estar muy confortable y acogedora
