Ostello del Teatro - Comentarios

We stayed here alone….or so we thought. We went out to get a drink since the signs around the space said no alcohol allowed on the premises and we wanted a glass of wine. We came back to find 6 locals hanging out and making food together in the kitchen at 21:00. There are no full walls between the kitchen and the bunk room, so we could hear them quite clearly. I understood this space was rented to theater groups but did not realize people just came to hang out here. I even asked the owner if there were any other people staying there in case there was a theater group because I don’t feel comfortable sharing these types of spaces unless it’s with other pilgrims. I realize these people were not staying there, but it really threw us. They were super nice about it and moved their party elsewhere when we asked, but for €23 each (with sheets and a city tax) this is an odd thing to have to deal with.
